From the beginning:

Miss Buns (BEW Doe)

Miss Buns was our second bunny bought at the Hillsborough County Fair in 2009.  She led us to Lily’s Rabbit Hole and our mentor Sue.
Miss Buns’ mother was Orange and carried the Chinchilla gene.  We have seen some beautiful Chinchillas from this doe.  Most of all, this little bunny won our hearts.

Jasmine (Kissime's P88)

This little doe has been the foundation of Sara's show team.  She won BOB in the Youth division under judge Joel Marshall at PAsrba this year.  What a thrill for Sara at her first convention!  Jasmine was retired to raise a litter and then shown one time.  Sara has decided that Jasmine is happiest as a brood doe.

Bilbo (Opal Buck)

Another love affair, this time with color.  Sara fell in love with this little opal buck at her first show.  He *HAD* to come home with us.  He is a nice little buck who is always well received by judges.  Bilbo comes from the lines of Em’s Bunnies in Minnesota.  He is retired to the breeding barn as he is one messy little buck.  I think he is related to Pig Pen...

Washington   (Kissime's P68)

A small typey chestnut buck, part of a trio from Kissimme.  He is a winner on the show table and born show man.

Teddy (Kissime's 34P)
A bold typey chestnut buck again from Kissime.  He is winning BOV and BOG both in Youth and Open.  He is one fabulous buck!  We have high hopes for him on the show table.

MINI REX

Our BEW variety began with a number of rabbits bred by Sue Grant of Lily's Rabbit Hole.  Sue vested herself in the development of the BEW variety in the Northeast and our lines bear witness to her efforts.  We are on a mission to build on her work by improving fur and body type.  We are buying stock to add to our breeding program with this in mind.  Stay tuned!

We also are working on blacks and torts for the show table.  We bought a nice black buck earlier this year from Bunnies by MJ and have been showing him all season with the result of multiple BOSV wins!  Our partnering with Tammy Wetherbee of T's Wabbits and a cross between her tort buck from Backyard Friends lines and a Lily's tort doe gave us a batch of tort babies this spring.  Our favorite, Hattie (HAT1), is the girl to watch.  Tammy also bred this buck to does in her barn and *wow* the results are winners!

More coming soon about a broken blue buck and a tort doe that will be introduced to the Heavenly Hops breeding program.  They are *AWESOME*!
